The hotel was wonderful and fairly clean, with very pleasant and amazingly nice staff on shift. The rooms were exceptionally clean, there was an exceptionally comfortable bed. The location was central, excellent to absolutely everything you would want to see in the Waikiki area. Plus, it was right by the Ala Moana center, a music venue and a concrete jungle.

Well-maintained neat rooms, they are provided with large comfortable bed, an alley view near the front plus bar. The location is particularly good and easy, 15 minutes' walk to a shopping mall. I would love to come back, appreciated the hotel.

Comfy bed, in-room Keurig coffee, energy efficiency, friendly staff, evening get-together. Family-owned. Water dispenser location inconvenient in rain. Convenient location to waterfront, marina, and Ala Moana mall.

I liked the fact that it is close to major conference centre like the convention Centre, Hilton and about 20minutes walk to Sheraton and the central market and major shopping centres. I stayed in the room where I could view the Ocean. You can also view images of the city as you use the escalator. The bed is quite comfortable and often well laid. With the availability of fridge and cooking utensils, microwave and stove, you can really enjoy your stay at minimal cost for feeding, even with members of your family.I will like to use that hotel again if I travel to Honolulu. In fact, it was my second time there because the price is also very reasonable. I also like the fact that it is bed and breakfast and you do not need to worry about breakfast. I also like the fact that there is internet services in the rooms. This is really great! You can keep in touch at no additional cost. That is not a bad idea. They can also arrange for your airport pickup depending on your ability to pay.
I think it will be great if all the rooms have hair dryers. Given the height of Marina Tower, it will be great if the lifts are always working to avoid congestion in the morning hours. I do not know if they have a Gym because on both occasions I was very busy. If not, this will not be a bad idea. If there can be a little kitchen from which to order for food when needed, especially for those on honeymoon or those how will be too busy to cook. However, there are restaurants very close to the hotel. I will also like the hotel to have cable TV to follow news and entertainment outside the US..

I recently stayed at a hotel in Waikiki for a leisure trip of 5 days and had a great experience. The hotel's location was unbeatable, just a short walk to the beach without any resort fees. Being able to easily explore Waikiki on foot was a huge plus. The valet service was excellent, and the parking prices were very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. It was also conveniently close to the Ala Moana Mall, avoiding the congestion of the main strip. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the barista at the coffee kiosk downstairs was excellent. Additionally, the abundance of coffee and tea available in the room and lobby was a nice touch.
I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is close to Waikiki and shopping as well as on a major transit route. It is an eclectic old boutique establishment with a staff who are there to help you. This was the best hotel service I have ever received. Management went out of their way to store bags for us as well as arrange transportation and look up information on destinations for us. The price was less than the big name neighbors, but the personal services given were priceless when it came to saving time and getting to several destinations such as Pearl Harbor, Atlantis Submarine and the many fine dining establishments within walking distance of the hotel. A funky but clean and nicely appointed place with great service!
The view is not the greatest, we could see the boat harbor and canal but not much of the ocean. The continental breakfast was a little skimpy. However; the great service and price over rode those concerns. And, right down the street a couple of blocks was the Snapper restaurant where you could get a very nice breakfast of fried home potatoes, eggs, toast or hotcakes for $2.95
